Arm in Arm

Two ladies out for a stroll in the early morning, in a quieter part of the Rambla, Barcelona. Anyone who has been to Barcelona will probably have taken a walk along this busy shopping street with a traffic lane on each side and the centre devoted to street traders and pedestrians.

I made a New Year resolution that I would start and maintain a blog to encourage myself to paint on a regular basis - nothing like having a deadline to meet - although I'm already a few days behind. I was wondering what to start with when a couple of mornings ago I saw our "Guard Dog" enjoying the morning sunshine outside my little studio - he was waiting for me to start work and allow him in to sit by a nice warm fire.Luckily I had a camera - this time.
As a Guard Dog Im' afraid he falls a little short.To hear him bark is such an unusual event that we drop everything and rush out to see what's up!
But as a family pet he is adorable.
