Chefs Cook Up a Storm

"Leave out but never add in". I forget where I once read or heard that advice but I had to apply it to this scene as these guys had a lot more pots and pans in their "Drum Kit". By leaving out a few of them it simplified the image making it less confusing and a little easier to paint.

Young and Carefree

 Although it certainly doesn't feel like it, we are told that spring has officially arrived in my part of the world.

Rummaging through my photographs the other night I came across this scene and thought we should have
a reminder of what life can be like when the temperatures go a little higher - enjoy!

School Backpackers

 

A bright sunny morning in Boston(although the scene could be almost anywhere)

as parents and children make their way to school. I liked the composition of this scene

and the variety of colour in the children's backpacks - hence the title.
